About Nicholas.....
Hi! I am 10 months old.

Mommy, Daddy, and I thought that we would put a little different spin on this month's update to all our family and friends. I really thought long and hard to remember all my favorite things; things I wanted to share with all of you.

Mommy and Daddy are planning my 1st birthday party in New York City and one in Johnstown, PA. . I can't wait to see everyone!
.....to explore and discover my house! It's like a new adventure everyday. Of course, there are some places Mommy would tell me not to go into, but I can't help it.

.....to climb up the stairs. Much to many protests from Mommy and Daddy, I just love to climb the stairs. Mommy tells me that she just wants to know before I decide to go stair climbing. She wants to be close by. I try, but sometimes, the urge just overwhelms me! :)

.....to pull all my books and stuffed animals off my bookshelf! Mommy always comes by and puts all the book back in order. She's trying to teach me my alphabets.

.....to say, "Hi!", "Hey!", and smile at people that I meet...especially other babies and kids!

.....to WALK all around the house! I have walked out on the front porch, the back porch, the beach, Whitcomb Avenue! I just love my new independence!

.....to call out "Yi Yi"! Connie Yi Yi taught me her special name when she was visiting during the weekend.
I love my mommy and daddy. I love my Connie Yi Yi. She was just visiting me this weekend (3/1/2002). She brought me my Rolie Polie Olie doll and lots and lots of other toys! She said that she all ready bought me a very special birthday gift and that I should receive it in a couple of weeks. Mommy and Daddy told me that I would really love it too!

I love my Mewmaw and Pappy. They live in Johnstown, PA. I miss them very very much. I love my Uncle Matt and Aunt Deb, Cousin Emily and Cousin Justin. I named my betta fish after Emily. :) I love my Aunt Lu, Uncle Tim, Cousin Nate, Cousin Sarah, and Cousin Gretchen. Mommy tells me that Cousin Gretchen is getting married in September this year.

I love my "Poor Poor" and "Goong Goong". They live in Brooklyn, NY. I listen and try to participate in many phone conversations with them. I love my Jeffrey Kew Foo. I love my Jerry Kew Foo, Christine (AKem), and Cousin Kayla.

Uncle Freddy! We're coming to see you soon! :)

I love my Aunt Diana, Uncle George, and Cousin Curtis. They live in South Dakota!
What's your favorite toon? Mommy and I wake up and while I am having my breakfast, we watch Rolie Polie Olie and Bear and the Big Blue House. They're my favorite shows on TV. I especially love the songs.

When those aren't on and I've been very good, Mommy would let me watch one of my Baby Einstein videos. My favorite is Baby DoLittle. Pavlov the dog is my favorite puppet. I can't help it. He makes me smile everytime I see him!
My favorite book is Itsy Bitsy Spider because it taught me to always be good natured. The itsy bitsy spider was washed out his water spout so many times and always remained happy.
